I, too, think Cerasoli was overrated in HS. When he played at St. Mel, we had a few showdowns with them (including Sectional Finals). TJ Parker pretty much could run right past him, which led Cerasoli to cheap shot Parker in the stomach while coming around a screen. He was lucky to have Stan Gaines on his team (and at 6'7, he could do anything he wanted playing against small HS players) and then later to have all those great players at West Aurora. Without those players around him I don't think there would have been nearly as much hype surrounding him and he probably should have peaked with an offer from a school like Loyola Chi.
