If Remy isn't a D-I player then then neither are the multiple Top 40 players he's playing ahead of.
He just wants to start & play more like Mike Shaw
I agree. When Bradley released him, he seemingly was star-struck by all of the things that Indiana basketball likely offers on a visit. After spending two years in the program, he probably came to the conclusion that he could be a starter and major contributor if he dropped down a notch.

Abell was not asked to leave. Only someone with the same old tired agenda would try to suggest that.

It seems like the phony aggiefan has returned.

apparently the Indiana message boards were active with talk that Tom Crean wanted Abell to return or possibly that Remy's mother was talking to Coach Crean about his return....and that Remy was considering it..

but now Remy's high school coach is saying that Abell's decision to leave is final

I know this new guy is entitled to his opinion...

but I would take RA in a heartbeat back at Bradley.

Its not like we should hold a grudge... he got a scholarship to Indiana and Les left... anyone would have taken it.

I think he would be great at BU.

I have heard Remy has interest from several other schools, including one as far away as California.

I don't know....it would be a lot of pressure on the kid now....let him go to UC-D....that would be fine...

I don't think Bradley can afford to park another kid who can't play until 2014. They need a 2013 contributor with the last scholarship.

Wouldn't be UC Davis would it? I assume that is a little lower than he would like to go, but Hawkins as a senior with Remy after next year would look pretty good for JL there.

I agree with this. I want an instant post contributor that is not shorter than 6'8" or 6'9" for the 5 spot. I would also be fine with an instant starter at the 3 like Delaney.

Remy Abell will possibly choose today - or at least in the next week
his three finalists are Saint Louis, Xavier, St. Mary's

today is the final date of the spring signing period - not that it fully affects Remy's committing but lots of coaches want to seal up the remainder
of their open scholarships and not be left hanging at the end of the signing period since unsigned kids & jucos will mostly all be off the board by then.
It becomes risky to hold scholarships for 2013 open after that since you may have trouble filling them.

                          Remy Abell interview...

basically it sounds like whoever convinces Remy he's gonna get playing time there - is where he's going to go - sounds like he's a bit miffed that he's only now figuring out he was pegged by Crean as a lifetime backup, so he wants outta there and get a fresh start where he can actually PLAY!!!! ....duh, Remy - you need to read BradleyFans!

the latest that's being said about Remy is that he may be down to SLU vs. XU and if looking for immediate playing time then he may have a better shot at it with Saint Louis.
He will probably decide in the next day or so as the signing period ends and schools will want to fill their open scholarships.

I wonder, tho since something happening at Saint Louis with Jared Drew having his scholarship yanked overnite
