I think they have us alot lower than we should be, but I'm pretty sure that is just our fall signees. Oops. Also think we will go up much higher when we get 2 or 3 more to commit to go along with Shaw and Shopshire. Wouldn't give that ranking much credance,if any.

yeah, missing swoopshire, so that would give us a pretty big boost alone, and hopefully we add.

Also, considering a large part of our success the next three years will come from 3 transfers, not really a cause of concern the number looks low, imo.

they also have a historic tendency to grade players based on where they verballed - sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy - so that the kids verballing to BCS teams - no matter who they land - get higher scores than kids verballing to smaller schools.

... so a Nate Taphorn gets a "3" by verballing to the Big Ten, but
but Alec Peters gets a "2" (going to Valpo)

Agree with that. I've seen both Taphorn and Peters numerous times and I like Taphorn alot but I'd take Peters over Taphorn anyday.JMO

Hoopscooponline has updated their ranking of recruiting classes...

Here's how they rate the Valley Teams..recruiting classes of 2013 - I know there are some errors in the listings FWIW

              1- ISU -
              2- Creighton
              3- Wichita
              4- Northern Iowa
              5- SIU
6- Bradley - they appear to give us credit for Chris Blake twice but omit Swopshire
              7- Missouri State
              8- Drake
              9- Evansville
              10- Indiana State
Loyola is ranked 5th in the Horizon with a point total that would have placed them 10th in the MVC

I always love rankings of players who haven't played a single minute for their team. I'd love an objective ranking by this group following this coming season.
