The Fort Myers News-Press newspaper was able to obtain copies of Ken Kavanagh's emails at Florida Gulf Coast University, and has published a list of what they say are candidates for the FGCU head coaching job based on reading KK's emails, and seeing who he has had communication with. That seems a little scary to me that private emails are subject to this kind of search and seizure, but I guess in Florida, they are.
Anyway, it is a long list of names, since even coaches who just inquired about the job opening, and may not really be legitimate candidates, would appear on KK's email list.

What was not a very desirable job just 2 years ago, is now a highly coveted job thanks the work of KK and Andy Enfield.
Here is a list of the names mentioned from Ken's email account, but I suspect there are others-

I understand you might not be entirely serious with that, but more than a few people have wondered if Ken might pursue JL. But that will not happen. Jim has a pretty good job, will earn significantly more at UCD than the FGCU job will pay (Jim's contract is backloaded with balloon payments in years 4 & 5, because of financial freezes put in place at UCD when he signed on), and he is committed to staying and coaching his son for another year, and beyond. He and his family also love the Sacramento area too much to leave from what I hear.

Interesting: Looks like Richter worked with Jaden Uken.

Chipola spent 11 weeks ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA national poll, finishing the year with a 35-2 record, a regional championship and a seventh place finish at the National Tournament.

Some interesting items -
Joe Dooley's base salary at Kansas is nearly $250,000 plus he gets extra for camps, clinics, and when Kansas has post-season success...
so just how does FGCU land this guy when they can't even pay that much for a head coach?? (Enfield was making about $160K)
Well - look at Andy Enfield - in just two years at FGCU- he's now at one of the premier jobs in D-I and can earn up to $2 million...
In other words - Dooley sees a tremendous potential in the FCGU job that many spots do not have...
Kudos to KK for doing so much in such a short time there...
