  • ICC wins at Parkland

ICC will likely remain the #1 ranked team in Div II Juco with a win at Parkland College Saturday night. ICC moves to 10-1, but I am unable to find a score.

One other ICC note I came across while searching for tonight's score--
The Bofia twins, who helped the ICC women's team win a national title last year, are at Arizona State. Suzy, the slightly shorter of the 2 at 6'6" has been a regular starter for the ASU women's team and is averaging 5.6 points and 4.9 rebounds. Beatrice injured her ACL in a preseason exhibition game and is redshirting this year. She will have surgery next week and will have 2 years of eligibility left.

The final score was ICC 102 - Parkland 90

DeAaron Williams was again the leading scorer for ICC with 23 points--

DeAaron was 5-9 from 3-point. The game was tied at halftime.
    ICC is now 10-1.

I predict ICC will run the table, and not lose another game until they reach the NJCAA playoffs.
They have already played their toughest 4-5 games, and although I know an injury or a tough night of shooting on the road could still do them in, they should head into March with a record of 29-1.

5-9 from three makes me very happy. If DW gains a consistant stroke from the outside, his game will rise to a whole new level.
        Can we start winning soon?
