saw some talk on the Detroit message board - where Shayok's sister had a great season for thew women's team...
that they wanted to try to lure Shayok Shayok there after they've a had a few departures and open scholarships
BTW - Jeff Goodman of CBSSports has Jimmy Gavin transferring from Bradley - he probably gets his info from NCAA sources so it is probably mostly accurate
some others of interest that Bradley once pursued
Moussa Gueye is transferring from Alabama - he's a 7-footer
Cully Payne, Darius Paul, Diamond Taylor, & Purdue's Sandi Marcius are still available
and Illini's Devin Langford & Ibby Djimde have yet to find a new place
Djimde is currently visiting Longwood and that appears to be his likely destination

They move from the Summit to the WAC along with Chicago State,
and UMKC lost a bunch of players so there's plenty of playing time available there - but Shayok won't be eligibile until 2014 after sitting out if he goes there - still no official confirmation.

Shayok Shayok was a starter and played well at UMKC through their first 8 games before suffering a shoulder injury. He averaged 8.8 ppg and a team-leading 7.0 rpg. He shot 56% overall, and was 100% on threes (2-2). UMKC contended early, and ended up tied for 2nd place in the WAC and got the #2 seed in their tournament.
He had already burned his redshirt season sitting out after the transfer to UMKC from Bradley, so it was unfortunate that his injury did not allow Shayok to return and he missed the rest of the season.
But reports are that he is nearly fully recovered, and is expected to play a big role in next year's team at UMKC. He will be a senior next season, and might try to get an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA via waiver because he missed most of the 2014-15 season.
