It seems DD was enamored by the recruiting attention that picked up recently with New Mexico and Texas A&M calling, but now that they have gotten juco big men, he seems to ready to go with one of the schools that have been recruiting him for a while. I hope that one is Bradley.

Interesting how the news & talk of Deshawn Delaney has fallen off....way off nothiong the past few days..
he was supposed to visit New Mexico & Texas A&M and he was supposed to go to UW-Milwaukee (this past weekend) but never got there...
..but one comment said he had "suspended all recruiting trips indefinitely..." .. and another report said the new coaches from New Mexico were going to Indiana to visit him..
the more the guy waits to more of his options will get filled by other recruits and transfers...
could the explanation for this dearth of interest while his teammates are getting scooped up - is that Delaney is gonna have trouble with the NCAA Clearinghouse?

As good of a player that DeShawn Delaney is....he should have been locked up long ago by a Final Four team or at least a team from the Big Ten...
the mere fact that he's still checking around for offers from the likes of a Horizon bottom dweller speaks volumes.....there's clearly more to this whole scenario that's not being stated but is obvious.

I think it might boil down to him not having enough credits for one of these 2 things-
#1-to graduate with his associates degree, which is required to attend any D1 school, or
#2-to be admissible to Bradley.
Some juco recruits accumulate credits in courses that are not offered at Bradley, and thus can't transfer (like PE courses).
I do not have any specific knowledge in DD's case, but we'll find out soon. If he needs to do extra course work to get into a D1, we'll know it's #1, if he is immediately admissable elsewhere, it might be #2.
