agree - some recruits right from the start seem to be sending the signal that they are loyal only to the "biggest offer" ..
kinda got that feeling with Brzoja, Buovac, and a few others who seem to get led around by "advisors"...

One juco recruiting writer says this in his tweet...
"Deshawn Delaney (6-6/G/2013) of Vincennes will visit Texas A & M and
New Mexico after his Bradley visit this weekend."

Ugh... If he gets out of here without committing, I don't have a lot of hope we'll sign him. Hopefully he sees the potential for immediate playing time and the lack of returning talent in the MVC which opens the door for him to do great things. Not to mention... Texas A&M? I understand they're BCS but it's not like anyone really cares about basketball there...

This is interesting -- there's a sudden barrage of New Mexico Lobos fans directly contacting DeShawn Delaney via his social media, Myspace & Twitter...and publicly...
this is a blatant NCAA violation and I hope someone calls them on it...

but then - so are UW-Milwaukee fans...even one site claiming to be an official fan site for the UWM Panthers

I am sure you follow high major recruiting (i. e. Illinois)

kids gets hundreds of tweets per day from fans (see Aaron Cosby from Seton Hall)

right now it doesn't appear there is anyway to police it. The Illinois Athletics Compliance account tweeted last fall at Illinois fans to not tweet recruits...but the NCAA isn't going to do anything...but the offical UWM Panthers account is interesting.

Also some of these kids in the past have retweeted EVERY tweet at them, regardless of the school they eventually chose, so no one freak out because he retweeting another schools fans.

                  2. Lemon
                  3. Delaney
                  4. Pickett
                  5. Hamilton
Is anyone else concerned we have no shooters? Doesn't matter who is starting at the 5, this lineup has no one that can shoot.

Swopshire can shoot too. I also believe that Lemon will be better. He has improved every year.

What about SZ or MT in terms of shooting? Will those two or JS be ready to contribute right away do you think?

Do you believe we would be alright starting AF, WL, and DD in the same lineup? I am not meaning because of talent, but because of the similarity in style and lack of shooting?

Well, if they're able to add Delaney, then I think Zecevic is going to have a hard time finding minutes as a freshman. Regardless of if he's a 2 or 3, he'd be behind Lemon, Grier, Delaney, Tucker, and Swopshire.

How is Tucker's jumpshot? Can him and Swopshire play right away?

I've never seen Tucker shoot, but I believe the expectation is that both of these guys would contribute immediately.

...also heard there's issues with Tommy H....not to mention we may have burned some bridges by janking the scholarships on each of the last two players we've landed from IMG
I wouldn't at all be surprised if Delaney is pursued by other BCS level programs. He's going to be really hard to get.

As for Hamilton, I don't think he or his mother are that concerned about other former IMG recruits. Ultimately, he'll do what he and his mom feel is best.
