Well it looks like we got all the rain out of the way last night. Now Deshawn and Chris can see the beautiful campus and beautiful new basketball facilities Bradley has to offer.

Hope to hear some good news sometime this weekend!
If you cant go to school go to STATE!!

        I know right!

But if we get both commits, arnt we still putting a lot on NW/JP/TP

The development of NW is in my opinion the # 1 thing! We get him ready and we can have a nice BIG lineup of NW,JP,TP,Walt and BELL.

Then the bench is looking like Blake,Delaney,Grier, Tucker,Swopshire,Zecevic

I really like the pieces to play with but like any other team any other yr you got to develop right , get the kids your after, which Geno seems to be doing,

I'm not sure that lineup would strike fear in the other MVC teams. (Both Early's would run circles around JP)

On the other hand, I don't think you have to worry about "playing small" when we have multiple 6'5"-6'7" wings you can stretch out to play the 4.

maybe the starting five of ICC would still be able to beat our starting five like some of our past "experts" had predicted??

A couple comments-but first a major disclaimer: I don't get to see many Bradley games from here on Cape Cod. So this maybe totally off base but:

I haven't seen much from Wells to think that he will be a vital 'clog' next year-much less a starter.
I can't imagine Prosser AND Wells both starting-gives the Braves size but makes for a very slow team
If Delaney or Blake signs with BU, either one would likely start for the Braves
Delaney most certainly would move directly into the starting lineup from everything that I've read about him.

Again, since I am so far removed from this-am I way off base here?

PS I would love to be wrong about Wells......Prosser will likely start at center

I don't think you have to worry about Prosser and Wells on the court together. Prosser is a nice backup. He did well in a backup role in the non-conference season last year. He has one offensive move and gets some rebounds.

Hopefully Bradley gets some commitments this weekend.

I think you??™re right on with this one capecod. The way the roster looks right now Jordan is the man in the middle. Nate is a project and I think it??™s still a stretch to think he would be starting for us next year. Hopefully Nate can give us some minutes off the bench, but any real production he would bring to the team next year I would consider a bonus.

If we are lucky enough to add Blake or Hamilton or BOTH somehow it would be interesting to see how the center minutes get distributed. Who knows though with the lack of quality big men though in the Valley next year we might just see a lot of small ball with Pickett at the 5 spot.

If that is our starting lineup, I will not look forward to next season AT ALL. We would easily play Thursday...

I don't know how good the freshman are...but I would prefer something like

                    1. Fields
                    2. Lemon
                    3. Delaney
                    4. Pickett
                    5. Hamilton

I can't see Delaney not starting....and I can't see Wells starting. Swop is a 3 star so hopefully he makes an impact because our players don't seem to develop well.

Nate and Prosser will not see the floor at the same time.

Prosser will (I should say "should") play around 10 minutes a game. He does well in that roll.

Anything Nate gives will be a plus.

You have the ideal starting line-up listed. However, I don't think Hamilton would start right away. If Hamilton isn't signed, I still think they'll get Blake and another 6' 8" kids. I don't think Wells plays regardless.

Chris Blake just arrived this afternoon at the PIA and was picked up by Coach Uken. He is now on campus.
                          Deshawn Delaney will arrive Friday.

The other board is saying that New Mexico is now after Delaney? Lets hope for a verbal before he leaves.

If Bradley doesn't get him while he's on campus, then I don't think they'll get him at all. He officially has BCS interest and has been invited to a visit.
