Way to go Shockers!
One more comment on Completely Biased Sports (CBS)......again, they didn't show the Valley celebrating a championship. Can you imagine them cutting away after a Duke win without talking to Seth Curry or Coach K? Yet, regular programming was more important than giving Wichita a chance to comment. Were they afraid they'd say one reason they are playing "angry" is because CBS disrespected them and the Valley so much at Arch Madness?

Yahoo article on main page
LOS ANGELES — They were overlooked before the season because last year's five leading scorers graduated. They were dwarfed in their own league by highly touted Creighton. And they were overshadowed during their NCAA tournament run because another Cinderella story … Continue reading →

Congrats Shockers! Now I can REALLY rub it in to my Ohio State friend's face... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

Thanks Shox -- more $$ for every team in the Valley
btw - Evansville lost last night - big time blowout at ECU - didn't see this mentioned..
The Aces now graduate 4 of 5 starters and most of their production.

but now they face an all different type of opponent...a definite Final Four contender...it'll be tough
LU played NCAT, CSU, Oregon, Duke
Duke-Albany Creighton MSU LU
Florida-Nortwestern ST. Minn. FCGU Mich
Syracuse-Montana Cal Indiana Marq
Michigan-SDSU VCU KU Fla
Hard for me to see much difference in the paths of these teams.

Thanks. And now WSU gets the #2 ranked team in the polls which is also the overall number one seed in the tourney(I think they are the best team in the tourney not from the MVC ...)
Louisville is playing great right now and WSU is gonna have to have their A+ game to stay in it and have a chance to win.
I am soaking in all of the positive pub for WSU and the valley.

Kevin Ware literally snapped his leg in half and obviously won't be able to play in the WSU game. Ware, although not a huge contributor, is a nice role player for the Cardinals and gives them a solid 15-20 minutes a night. Boy was that injury hard to watch. Reminded me of the Sean Livingston injury....yikes!.
Good luck Shockers!

This has the capacity to be a pretty good game with WSU and UofL. The injury to Ware is actually a bit bigger of a deal than one would think. Ware has steadily become a more significant player for UofL and often serves as the backup point.
Ware was suspended in the middle of a season for attitude issues, but since returning has really been a fantastic player. Hes a great athlete, and has tremendous length at the guard spot. UofL has the ability to rotate Siva, Smith, and Ware and lose virtually nothing on defense and at times, ware can provide a better scoring option than Siva. In fact, ware really had the best game of his career, during the sweet sixteen against Oregon when Siva got into early foul trouble.
Interestingly enough, if UofL were to get by the Shockers, they might miss ware the most if they happened to match up with Syracuse. Siva has a tendency to play awful against the tall, and long guards of Syracuse, while Wares height and length has made him effective in the past against Carter-Williams and crew.
