so he has yet to qualify? he needs to qualify to help DePaul out of the cellar - this explains why a lot of schools didn't waste resources going hard for him...,
you would think making sure the kid is qualified is Job #1 since he can't help us if he can't play.
"skilled shooter & ballhandler"???? I thought we wanted the guy as a low post banger?
The Trib's list is sure different than every other list of schools I have seen offering him - he reportedly said DePaul & Bradley were his only offers..

How does a coach go about rescinding an offer?

The final 2013 Florida rankings are out...
and Thomas Hamilton is the highest ranked IMG player - and comes in at
#16 on their list - right ahead of Nura Zanna who is going to Long Island.

Tommy had a decent game but not notable in his 2nd outing...8 pts, 4 rebs
...as DePaul plays poorly and loses at home to So. Miss. Hamilton's frontcourt teammate is Purdue transfer Sandi Marcius who has contributed next to nothing - last night scoreless in 18 minutes.

Season almost over - and a look back shows Tommy Hamilton did not help DePaul very much
maybe he'd have done OK here - but he was very inconsistent and foul prone....
and he's been demoted recently from starter to sub... at a time when a couple of wins over beatable teams could have moved them up a slot in the Big East.
But he did average 7.8ppg & 5.2 rpg but a surprisingly low 39% shooting - for a guy who plays mainly right at the hoop.
It'll be interesting to see if he stays at DePaul should there be a coaching changeover.

DePaul and Tommy Hamilton IV have come to a mutual agreement for his release to pursue other opportunities for his senior season.
Surprised he stayed 3 years at DePaul, best of luck to Mr. Hamilton heading into his senior year.

Thanks - good find lightsout...that is intriguing to Bradley fans...............
Bradley pursued him both out of high school, then again out of IMG prep school but he chose DePaul...
....he was pretty good friends with both Mike Shaw and Alex Foster....wonder if he'd be interested in playing at BU - and maybe he could transfer as a grad student...or if he sits out a year then can transfer without penalty..but we currently have no scholarship.
How about -- staying at DePaul & not playing just to stay 'til he gets his degree - would that be possible or plausible?
Here are some older threads about him
In his three years at DePaul here are his numbers:
Freshman- 32 games, 8 ppg, 5 rpg, 40% FG shooting
Sophomore- 30 games 10 ppg, 5 rpg, 51% FG shooting
Junior- 30 games, 9 ppg, 6 rpg, 47% FG shooting
Career ...92 games, 9 ppg, 5 rpg, 46% FG shooting 71% FT shooting
