Indiana having severe problems with the Syracuse 2-3 zone, and Wichita State opened a 22 point lead early in the 2nd half, but now LaSalle has scored 10 straight points to cut the lead to 44-32. -
IU goes down - Tom Crean never once all season had to play a tough non-conference team on the road (their court) - in fact they never played any non-conference foe on the road at all....
this may have hurt them....

A premature CONGRATS to the Shockers for reaching the Elite 8!!!!!!!!
Something a Valley team has come close, but failed to do for a very long time.
Early in the season, Wichita fans and Valley fans could see there was something special about this team, but I don't think even the most avid Shockers fan would have thought they had a chance to advance THIS far even then - let alone before the season began.
Their seasons just have gotten better and better with Marshall at the healm.

I don't really get why IU was favored so much to win this one. I thought before the game began that it was a toss-up. The 'Cuse much more athletic and I'd take Boeheim over Crean any day to coach in the Sweet 16.Originally posted by tornado View PostComment

I will be sad to see them go.
Indiana never did figure out how to score against the Syracuse zone. Ohio State and Marquette were the other 2 winners-
