Michigan, in case you missed it, simply had their way with a very talented VCU team...
this was effectively a 30-pt blowout early in the 2nd half with the Michigan guys having fun, throwing down reverse dunks, and spectacular plays.
They looked like a team that has regained their form and may rival any other team in this tourney...and seemed to be sending a message they are a team to be reckoned with.
But one other way that John Beilein seems to have been sending a message...
he made a fair number of subs and late in the game he even cleared the bench and put people in the game I have never heard of - names like Corey Person, Blake McLimans, Josh Bartelstein, etc...
And yet Max Bielfeldt didn't even take his warmup off and never played even a second. If that isn't a message then I am not sure what it was...
