It's been a number of years that we've been able to do this - probably since the 2006-'07 season, when we didn't blow "safe" leads and end up losing the close ones at home.
Yeah, at times, we've had a lapse at the end and almost lost, but overall, only the Wichita St. game is when we failed to close out, and in that one, I think we only had a 2 or 3 point lead in the final couple minutes, and they clearly were the better and more talented team.
Thankfully Walt helped us prevail vs. Missouri St. with his buzzer-beater, or we may have lost that one.
I will take 12-4 at home and I would venture to say that nobody saw that coming THIS season, after winning just 7 total the one prior.
Great job Braves! And kudos to Geno for leading the troops to wins to back up his statement that it will be tough to win games on the road vs. the Braves.
