The talk of transfers is heating and will even more as teams' seasons end...
Missouri State loses a kid to transfer- thus a scholarship opens up for Paul Lusk when he would have had none available. They lose only one senior but already had a commitment to fill that ride...and the others - LINK
Illinois is checking out this Seton Hall transfer, Aaron Cosby
BTW - anyone remember this guy -- Dequan Hicks? - was verballed and all ready to sign with Missouri State for 2012-13 -
- then backed out and reopened his recruitment thinking he could go higher.
Well - he didn't get any other offers, and by then Missouri State had moved on...but...here's a followup on Hicks..
He turned out to be really good - BUT - the only D-I school he had left that offered was Northwestern (Louisiana) State - but maybe all he cared about was playing time -
He didn't start but did get 20 minutes per game off the bench and averaged 14.1 ppg & 5.8 rpg!!
Man would he have made a difference inside for MSU!
One other rumble...the players at University of Kentucky were all thought to once be one-and-done guys - but their disappointing season may make many of them 2nd rounders or not draft picks at all!
PLUS they all surely know that John Calipari has a WHOLE boatload of 5-STAR guys (Five 5-Star incoming recuits) coming in next year that will take all the starting spots the way all his one-and-doners always do...
So...there's some talk that some or many of the Kentucky players will leave so they don't get relegated to the end of the bench.
