  • Kentucky vs Robert Morris

Kentucky just failed the "eye test"....loses by two to Robert Morris in 1st round of NIT. Looks like NCAA selection committee knew what they were doing.

This is what post season basketball is all about.. the kids from Robert Morris - the bottom team in the NIT just wanted this one more and their fans were terrific..

Finally some proof that the one and done phenomenon is not always going to build a championship team.

I would say that not only did robert morris want it more but they also just flat out appeared to be the better team.

some are saying - Kentucky was forced to play without one of their best players...but we know nobody's allowed to use injuries as an excuse

Oh no here we go again. If you have recruited depth instead of projects & stiffs ,injuries wouldn't mattered much. Can you say the Shockers and Hall?

Injuries can be used as an excuse, they undoubtedly affect a team. Each team is different and each injury is different. I will say, however, that if someone is using the injury of one guy to excuse a loss to Robert Morris, that is a S-T-R-E-T-C-H.
