So "most fans" don't believe this team was improved? Or "most fans" don't believe this was a legit .500 team? Or "most fans" were more supportive of the previous coach?

There are a lot of reasons for dropping attendance, or so we have been told in the past.

Congrats to Coach Ford and the Braves for getting back to the post-season. It was an impressive accomplishment under the last coach, and it is an impressive accomplishment now.

I guess I must be blind because I saw masses of students at the games this year. Particulary, the Michigan, ISU, Indiana State, and a consistent amount of students at various other games. Students are definitely starting to show up more at the games compared to last year. Im sure we will have bigger turnouts next year.

But of course, a lot of us love being pessimistic about a team we supposedly support and love to make snarky comments.

I encourage them to show up for the next game.
There were many games this year where the student turnout was very small.

It's Spring Break starting this Friday. Im sure almost everyone has already made plans.

I've noticed a lot more students have been talking about basketball on campus. Students who work at/for the games/basketball team have also noticed an increase in involvement and attendance. We will see what next year brings.

              1. This shouldn't be included as an official "postseason"

              2. This game wouldn't draw students if it wasn't spring break..... ZERO students were at the Texas PA game

              3. Tickets too $$$$$

              4. Will they be giving away the rest of the Anthony Parker T-shirts from last game?

              3. We have a month before signing period............................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...........

Think back to the SEMO game the year before... there were nearly 1,200 students at that game... It all depends on who is busting their butts to get students to the games

FALSE! I intend to be there barring any unforeseen barrier.
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

                    Really???

When you have promised $50 or 60k upfront and you aren't sure if there will be a game 2 you have to get as much upfront as you can. I personally don't think $20 is that bad. I would pay it but I understand if you have a family you are wanting to take that could be prohibitive. Maybe once they meet the payoff they could cut the price for the remaining games. Seems it would be worth it to use the RC and build momentum and excitement.

You're right. Student turnout was adequate to good at those games. But thats only 3 games. Students need to get to Carver every time. It is unfortunate that the CIT game will be over Spring Break but if the team advances far enough the students will have one more chance to show up this year.

I have no doubt that student interest is increasing. There tends to be a positive correlation with student attendance and winning games. First you have to get them there, then you educate them on the game, then they take over and give the place a shot in the arm in terms of energy.

Please, keep showing up. Every game. And bring your friends.

We just announced discounted prices for groups, so perhaps some of you can organize yourselves into a group and purchase a block of tickets at the discounted prices: $15 for groups of 10-19 or $12 for groups of at least 20.

Contact Joe Dolan in the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 253-8136 for your group ticket purchases.

offer extra credit in courses to students who go...that's how our kids' school gets the students to the games!

Bradley accepts bid to the CIT

After such an inconsistant season and a very disappointing last months finish, $22 ($44 for a couple) is far too much to pay to watch this team play a meaningless game in a "ho-Hum" and meaningless tournament.

What makes the game next Wednesday any less meaningless than the George Washington game in December? My tickets were well over $20 per game then.

The schedule may have helped get to .500, but we say a 5 game improvement in conference. We won over three times as many games. That is real improvement no matter how you slice it.
