I will tip my hat to Barry - great job under the circumstances, and got his guys on the same page, which is something C-Low struggled with even for his own recruits.
Not sure about why Marty Simmons got consideration. They about finished where everyone expected them to finish, and they had Colt Ryan the whole season.
UNI came on strong in the last half of the Valley season, but most had them finishing in the Top 3, and possibly being an NCAA tourney team.
Had BU and ISU-blue not taken a nose-dive in the last few games, their coaches would likely have been in the Top 5.
