Here's proof that the NCAA can ban the imagery, but it cannot eliminate it, and in some cases,
only drives some to be more passionate about the ones that are banned.

BU can't be in violation of any goofy NCAA rules by not having a mascot. So drop the mascot argument and stay the present course. No Brave, no mascot.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

for the people who voted no mascot. are you for no mascot or just not for the choices. in otherwords, are there any mascot alternatives that would be acceptable to you that are not listed?

I am in favor of the mascot suggestion seen in my avatar and explained in my signature.

If not this mascot idea - then nothing.

I'll tell ya a beef I have with the new mascot. It's as if we are changing our nickname.

For example, with the Squirrel. Just looking at Mike Radigans avatar. (don't mean to pick on you MR - just using the pic as an example)

See how the NAME has changed from Bradley Braves to Bradley Flyin' Squirrels.

I'll be gosh-darned if we are gonna change our nickname in gear/tshirts/hats for the mascot.

If we can't select a mascot that keeps our nickname in place - I DON'T WANT IT!

How can the fans, like us, make so much sense and the guys trying to find a new mascot just don't get it. NO BRAVE, NO MASCOT.
