Juco banned from post-season play

an NJCAA ruling has banned Indian Hills CC (junior college) in Ottumwa, IA from post-season play and placed them on probation..

The incident that triggered this was a brawl between players caused the son of Southwestern CC (Marcellus Sommerville's juco) head coach to get injured...
Police arrested the offending player - Ron Ross of Indian Hills - then Ross was immediately bailed out of jail by the President of Indian Hills - an act which is a direct violation of NJCAA rules..
Even worse - Ross was instantly reinstated and has played regularly since - he is one of their best players, 15 ppg & 43% from 3-pt
