      I did not say those seasons were terrible, but they definitely were not where we should have been as a program, which is why I am encouraged with where Geno has us going now with aat least 16 wins this year. With that said, if we have a season like this 2-3 years from now, I will not be nearly as ecstatic and wonder if a change is needed. But for now I'm excited with how the season as gone. Sure I would like to have more wins and be out of Thursday but like I said rebuilding a program doesn't happen overnight. I just wish people wiuld give it time without being so frustrated with this season

        I will agree that I am not saying we are there yet. I am not saying Geno is the man. I just like everything I have seen so far from him. I am hopeful and fairly confident we are on the rise.

          I think there has been some misinformation on this all season...trying to blame current problems on things that happened 4, 6, even 6 years ago...
          recall last fall when the article ripped Bradley for the "Ren-Col" experiment and said..that attendances had declined steadily since 2007 as so had revenues..

          ..when in reality the truth is easy to verify - attendance was UP in 2009 & 2010 and then declined after that...and that revenues were at all time record high up thru 2008..
          Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

          The HUGE increase in revenues were due to factors & efforts that began in 2002, 2003, 2004, etc....and then have dropped a bunch since then - and are way, way down now along with attendances...

            You are correct tornado (I can't believe I just said that )... One look at this chart of the stock market (which roughly reflects the economy and consumer spending) explains your point. It has very little to do with Les, Glasser, or Geno -- http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=%...rce=undefined;

              So contributions are down since the conclusion of the capital campaign?

              You don't say...

                I was one of the harshest critics of the staff last year. I wasn't expecting a miracle with the win-loss record then or this year. I was expecting to see player development and some nice schemes. This year the staff has won me over and like you LC, I am confident that better days are ahead.
                Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

                ???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

                  I remember you stood out more than anyone else as the biggest critic of the coaching staff. But you were totally right in your analysis and what you saw as problematic. So I value how you see the current state of the team and where we're headed since you tend to see things as they are.

                  I guess now the real issue is whether we can get the kind of players that can take this program to the next level...and that is what I get anxious about, though I believe the staff is doing everything they can to get them in here.
