UNI senior guard Anthony James is not playing tonight against SIU. Apparently due to an injury. -
Not sure if it was the suspension of Arop - but coach Greg Lansing made a boo-boo after their important loss to Drake
..He failed to show up as announced to the Indiana State home crowd to speak to the fans...it was senior night and although none of the players are seniors - some of the team managers, band, and cheerleaders are...
they waited and waited - and Lansing left the building forgetting his date with the Sycamore fans...he did not know about his blunder until the next morning when he apparently read about it in the paper or heard about it from the AD depending on whose story you read....
Some fans were said to be ... "displeased" but probably understood the busy life of the coach...
BTW -- Manny Arop's suspension is "day to day" and he is expected to return "this season"...which probably means Saturday..Comment
