And a win tonight vs. Creighton will be more of a reward for you guys than for us fans.
Nonetheless, what a nice season to look back for Jake, Will, and Dyricus!
We appreciate and admire the kind of dedication that each one of you put in during your time at BU, from the classroom to the community, and on the court.
We will remember Jake as one of the scappiest players to suit up for BU since the 90's and a guy who will do anything for the team to get a W.
Of course, this year he has had a couple key 3's (@ SIU), (vs ISU-red) that led to victories, and perhaps the biggest victory of the year to snap the 7-game losing streak to the Birds.
Though playing practically his whole career out of position, he found himself in the right position with 2 very memorable moments in BU's recent history - triggering the pass to Lemon for the Dash 'n' Drop vs. Missouri St. and the UIC "Flame Out" this past weekend (his last second lay-up aided by Lemon).
It seems like almost a decade that Will has been with the team, and has worked his tail off for most of his BU career just to be able to get on the court, with 2 possibly career-ending injuries that he overcame.
His confidence seems to be at an all-time high this year, and he found comfortability stroking 3's after 5 years of making none!
Will unfortunately has found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time...yes people, I'm talking about fouling 30+ feet from the basket and picking up ticky-tack fouls - something he's never been able to overcome. But he has been a master of taking the charge AND taking charge to be the vocal leader and prime encourager of this team, and on teams when he wasn't playing due to injury.
A guy who we always knew had potential from his freshman year was Dyricus. And he's putting every quality he possesses together this season, refining his game in every aspect - especially on the defensive end. Ready to pick up the MVC Defensive POY, he is also ready to hurdle over Willie Scott for the all-time BU steals leader (hopefully on senior night vs. Creighton!)
Battling through inconsistency and nagging injuries, he has been nothing but consistent this season and is one guy who you never have to worry about leaving everything on the court. He is a tireless worker in his own time, enjoying the grind, which has gotten him to the point where he is now.
We will also remember him for a guy who's entered "The Zone" a couple times in Carver arena - both times in the 2nd half vs. the Panthers (in 2012 & 2013), as many Bradley fans had never seen such an incredible one-man display in such as short span among the Bradley greats!

We will miss you Scrappy, Sled-dog, and El hombre/Dyriculous/Ric!!!
Thanks for the memories and for your extreme hard work as a BU Brave!
You've made us proud, and the future for all of you looks very bright!
Let's go out with a *Bang* tonight, shootin' down the opponent, and flyin' higher than the Jays!
