hey - every school does have players leaving - but I am confident Bradley has never had a coach who ran a kid out that did not want to leave...
Even the TCS fiasco that some used against BU ended up with the final evidence showing TCS & his dad lied, changed their story, and admitted nobody ran them off at all.

if Henry wants to play for Bradley then that's what we need - but I am not sure I understand his issues - he'd be in line for heavy playing time if he returns to the Illini and is productive....so why's he leaving??

The problem with so many kids nowadays and Fire kids as well is that they bounce around and never seem to find the right place to fulfill their needs

Henry reveals it all boiled down to coach Groce not letting him play the position he wanted toplay

"Despite an open spot in the Illini starting lineup at the "4" spot following the
graduations of Tyler Griffey and Sam McLaurin, Henry decided to pursue other
opportunities to play on the wing.
"I'm looking for a school that is going to give me an opportunity to really
showcase my skills and let me play on the wing"

I'm not sure trying to dictate your own terms is the best way to endear yourself to prospective schools.

Seeing as how college MBB is now the NBA D-League, I can understand Mychal's desire to find a team that can show case him as a good shooting SF.

Not the first or last kid to move on for his benefit trying to make 'The Show'.

Lord knows colleges and coaches make moves for their exclusive benefit regardless how it impacts the player.

At least Henry wasn't Forded, Creaned, Janked, or Mullered!

In years' past I am sure this would have been described as a "difference in opinion with coaching staff, or, that "Illini just wasn't a good fit for me".

Don't see this quote as a negative for MH, just being honest....

I can think of at least one school who could use a former BCS good shooting SF..

Would we want to let him play the wing? My guess is if Illinois wasn't a good fit, Bradley would't be either.

I am pretty sure we would do whatever we could to get him here...
