Check this kid out.... he is 6'6" and leads the NATION in FG%..........at over 71% a game!

oh and he averages 16 points and 9 rebounds a contest... unreal

does anyone know how he does it?

only one game this year has he shot below 50%

Here is an interesting article- It says this kid, Taylor Smith of Stephen F. Austin University, has a vertical leap of 37 feet!

Taylor is listed at 6??™6???. He said the last time his vertical jump was measured he was still in high school, and at the time it was 37 feet.

I was trying to recall the Illini during their final 4 season. I thought as they entered Jan, Deron Williams was the "worst" shooter on the team at 50%, with most of the other starters in the 60's..

Actually - Bradley came within a thread (back in 2007) of having the kid who later became the NCAA Division-I NATIONAL leader in FG percentage!

..two seasons ago - Leon Powell (of SEMO) was the nation's leader in FG% - and we almost had Leon Powell - 6-7 PF from St. Louis Vashon...

he went unsigned out of high school because of grades in 2007, and Bradley had him on campus working on remedial coursework over the summer and was planning to get him enrolled at BU but plans fell thru...he then went to juco, redshirted a year with a knee injury, then had a decent 2-year career at SEMO
