I know there is already a thread that covers this, "College Basketball Uniforms", but I think it isn't clear in what it's covering. I assumed that there would be greater interest and more discussion on this topic, since it's the first deal of its type for the athletic department.

I am sure it's good for all the other non-revenue producing athletic programs that usually don't get much from the apparel and shoe companies, but isn't such a deal detrimental to the only true revenue producing program, the basketball program?
There is a reason most schools negotiate these deals for their football and basketball teams separately from their other teams.

They should negotiate a nice coupon for the alumnus to buy Adidas.
I also bet you the soccer team is quite pleased over this deal. I usually buy Adidas when I can. For some reason their shoes fit me real well and they tend to last."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

Maybe we can get a shoe design similar to these Adidas classics-

Bradley will soon be wearing Adidas uniforms. And today, Adidas just unveiled what the future of their college uniforms looks like.
What do you think? I think they look like 1980's Zubaz...yuck.
Note some of the comments below the article- mostly negative.
With all the talk and all the hype surrounding the new Adidas jersey that are being launched, I wondered when we would finally get a glimpse of them.
I wonder if Bradley will be wearing the ones with the sleeves?
Yahoo Sports calls them "Hideous"-
From acid wash jeans, to rat tail haircuts, to Miami Vice-style suits, the 1980s produced a number of fashion trends that probably never need to make a comeback. Unfortunately, Adidas is bringing one back anyway this March: Zubaz. Adidas rolled … Continue reading →
Remember these Zubaz pants? I think I had a few pair of these a couple decades ago. It looks like Adidas ripped off their design-

twitter is abuzz with how terrible these look...especially if a team wears dark green or gray on a court like this..

Those old pants were hideous and I'm not a fan if that new combination I'm seeing posted here. I do prefer Adidas over Nike, so I??™m looking forward to seeing what products the fans might have access to buy.
I thought I heard or read that all BU teams be Adidas by this fall with the exception of the basketball team. I thought they still had to honor Nike this fall before making the switch? Can anyone confirm this?

These uniforms are being universally panned by media and just about everyone else.
USA Today-
Adidas unveils preposterous sleeved college hoops uniforms
Last I checked, the rules of basketball, written by former Kansas coach James Naismith, say nothing about wearing shorts that look like the ugliest pair of bathing trunks you saw on your last trip to the beach.
