I remember heading down to see The Rivermen for $1 beer nights and beat the clock at the Lucky Lady where they started with nickle beers.

Quarter beer nights at the Rivermen games were nice! That was in 88 I believe. Of course Fridays at the Lady and Rocky's Hitching Post were better.....one had free beer from 5-6 and the other from 6-7!

Bigger, louder crowds. Guaranteed. Not sure what would be missed by trying $1 beers. We have one of the relatively few venues where this is possible- save money by not booking a half time gig next year and do a $1 beer night.
