  • NBA unveils sleeved jerseys

The NBA Golden State Warriors will debut a new style shirt on Friday, Feb. 22- a sleeved jersey made by Adidas.

Will college teams adopt the sleeved jersey? Will Evansville go back to the sleeves?

I like it! Awesome from a fan point of view when going to buy merchandise. I actually don't own an NBA jersey just because they aren't practical at all to wear ever (except to an actual game). But I do own hockey and football jerseys simply because the sleeves make them more socially acceptable. Lebron needs to release one of these, ill be first in line!

These are meant to be rather form fitting. I don't really want to see 40 year old men with beer bellies trying to rock these in the stands at the United Center.

I am not sure I want to see every NBA player wearing the tight form-fitting new jerseys.

Obviously these are just alternative jerseys. So the originals will still be available. Plus many people already don't wear the sleeveless jerseys as tight as professionals do. But yea, you might get that occasional guy who is about 300 pounds that wants to rock one of these. (you know, probably the same guy who still wears his high school football jersey from when he was a solid 200 his junior year)
