With a win tomorrow, BU is 2 games out of first place with home games vs In St. and Creighton left
With a win tomorrow, BU is still just 2 games out of 9th place.

ISU wins, creating a 3-way tie for the MVC lead between Creighton, Wichita State, and Indiana State all at 9-4.
12-6 might be enough to win this conference. I don't even know when the last time that happened in the Valley! I know 1999 and 2006 13-5 was enough to win or share for the title, but that may not even happen this year.
A bottom-dwelling team winning on the road against the first-place team does not mean the league is solid from top to bottom.
Three teams tied for first place with 9-4 records does not mean all three teams deserve to make the tournament.
Yes, and we'll be lucky to get two of those three teams in. If someone other than those three win the Valley tournament, then only one gets in most likely.
And it's looking more like Indiana State will win the Valley outright, considering they still have a home game against Wichita State and some winnable road games left (except for Bradley ). Who would have thought this before the season started!

2nd largest crowd ever at this arena (18,494). Largest was 18,735 last year for their game with Wichita State.
Not sure, but I think he was talking about his house.

I have three questions for you if you were there, cpac..btw - congrats to ISU for a quality road win!
-why can't they sell the place out - if they get that close then make the top row tickets 50 cents each or given 'em out to charities
-what the hey with Wilkins' double dribble that could have been devastating? You got enough points to win, all you gotta do is hold the ball for one second - and he gets GREEDY and wants to pad his stats!!
-same for a few of the other guys at about the 4 minute mark...down to the 2 minute mark..
ISU was up four and needed to hold the ball and eat the clock -- everyone knows that, right???
Well - apparently not - after McDermott missed his shot at 4:22, a little more than 10 seconds into the next possession, Bryant Allen jacks a LONG three and misses it....you could see Muller grimacing!
BUT, wait, it gets worse.....
The rebound goes long and Zeisloft ends up with it...and within a couple seconds he launches another ill-advised three and misses it....thus ending that possession in under 5 seconds!
Muller musta been having a heart attack!
...and yet ISU gets the long rebound again and this time Muller quickly calls time out to scold the guys and tell them to eat up the clock and don't keep jacking up hurried threes and potentially giving the ball back to the top shooting team in the conference.
Next couple possessions after the time out - then they hald the ball, ate the clock and won the game.
