A lot will change in the last 6 games. I think the teams will separate a bit more than they are now.

Of course Creighton would lose this game. This afternoon just became huge for Bradley.

The best part of the game by far was that clown Wilkins' double dribble. What was he doing?! I've said it before and il say it again. We really dodged that bullet.

and how good does our win over ISU look right now? They have won 6 of 7 since losing their first 6 to start the year with the only loss being to us.

That was a huge game to keep them below us in the standings for now. Just got to take care of business in today's game before going to Normal on Wednesday.

I wasn't planning on going over there (last few times I have come home in a bad mood)---but after watching them last night (and after we beat UNI today)---I am ordering tickets for us for Wednesday to go east-- I predict ISU will still be riding high on beating the #16 team in the Country on ESPN2---and ripe for being a little flat at home---so we can go into the Bird House and come back with sweep this year (after getting swept the last 3 years)---and I can drive back home with a face!!
              Bradley football--undefeated again this year

Thanks. I wasn't there, but I did watch.

ISU's attendance isn't terrible. Remember we only report butts in the seats and not ticket sold like other schools.

ISU has different games thru the year where they do donate seats to charities and the local school district.

Obviously, it would be great to draw more.

-what the hey with Wilkins' double dribble that could have been devastating? You got enough points to win, all you gotta do is hold the ball for one second - and he gets GREEDY and wants to pad his stats!!
It was confusion on Wilkins part. He was going to go in for the dunk, but the bench told him to stop. Which lead to the double dribble.

Padding his stats? Greedy? Umm no. You obviously don't know John Wilkins.
-same for a few of the other guys at about the 4 minute mark...down to the 2 minute mark..
ISU was up four and needed to hold the ball and eat the clock -- everyone knows that, right???
Well - apparently not - after McDermott missed his shot at 4:22, a little more than 10 seconds into the next possession, Bryant Allen jacks a LONG three and misses it....you could see Muller grimacing!
                BUT, wait, it gets worse.....
The rebound goes long and Zeisloft ends up with it...and within a couple seconds he launches another ill-advised three and misses it....thus ending that possession in under 5 seconds!
Muller musta been having a heart attack!
...and yet ISU gets the long rebound again and this time Muller quickly calls time out to scold the guys and tell them to eat up the clock and don't keep jacking up hurried threes and potentially giving the ball back to the top shooting team in the conference.
Next couple possessions after the time out - then they hald the ball, ate the clock and won the game.
Muller is a big fan of the knockout shot. So he doesn't mind if guys take early, quick looks. If they go in, it's great. If they don't, it sucks.

Muller is also a fan of "heat checks". So if a guy is feeling it, he doesn't have a problem with them taking open looks. As long as it's in rhythm.

We did. Bradley is EXTREMELY fortunate to play ISU when they did, and to win that game! That's how close our seniors came to not experiencing a win against them, because I don't think we have a prayer beating them at their place. Sorry to rain on people's parades here, but I'm just being realistic. That's why today's game is a must win for us. Perhaps we get lucky and shock ISU this week, but I'm not counting on that happening. That said, I'm hoping the players tune us fans out and give it their all against the Redbirds this week!
