I agree, but we don't vote.
I think Odum gets chosen instead if ISU-blue finishes with a better record than BU.
If the records are the same, I think Walt gets it, and would be a shame if they jipped him. The other 4 are pretty much shoe-ins - really comes down to Odum & Lemon, with an outside shot of James (UNI) for the last spot.

Speaking of who might be the best freshman in the Valley, Marcus Marshall of Missouri State is putting up some great numbers recently to put himself into contention for Freshman of the Year.
He scored 25 points in tonight's loss to UNI and has scored double figures in 6 of his last 8 games to raise his season scoring average to 10.4 ppg, easily the best numbers for any freshman.-

but like a freshman he's also been very inconsistent --
just the previous game he was 1-7, helping his team hand the game to SIU, and in a stretch of games from mid-January thru early Feb...
he was just 17-46 overall and just 7-28 (25%) from the arc...as Missouri State went 2-5 in that stretch..

as you have pointed out - the limited number of freshmen anywhere in the Valley still leaves Marshall as a pretty solid lock on All-Frosh team...and maybe FOY

only Mockevicius, Mason, Marshall, Keane show up anywhere among leaders in the league stats..and the few others mentioned like King & Beane might have a shot..
