This is the same position we were in 3 seasons ago when we faced a #19 UNI team after a heartbreaking loss at home to ISU-red.

We have played fairly well vs. the Panthers at home in recent years, and this may be the biggest game we've played vs. them since 2007 (NIT season when we ended up losing to them after beating VCU, killing any small hopes of dancing).
A lot on the line, and this game could have huge implications for BU in the end seeding, as it's looking like only 1 or 2 games will separate the 4th seed from the 9th.

          Another meaningful game...in FEBRUARY!!!
(At least for this year's team with the modest expectations, it is...2 years from now, hopefully "meaningful" means contending for a championship!)
I am a student and I go to almost ALL home games, I've only missed 1 home conference game I think, but I don't sit with the students simply because the poor attendance allows me to sit in the section I've sat in for going on 5 or 6 years now. I just know all the people up there and prefer it. I'm as loud as anyone though and we try to get our little corner fired up

The student support and crowd involvement was a MAJOR factor in BU's win over ISU Red this year, and it kept BU in the games against Wichita and Michigan this year. I also remember the most exciting game I've been to at Carver, against no. 19 UNI 2 or 3 years ago, and the crowd was a major factor in BU's 14-0 (can't remember exactly) run at the start of the 2nd half to get them back in the game. I never got to witness a game at the Fieldhouse or in the heyday of Carver with JL and HH, but I would imagine it would sound something like what happened between 1:30 and 1:57 of this video. Keep in mind there were over 2,000 empty seats here (and the Oakland Buzzer Beater in the CBI or CIT produced a massive sound and there were only about 5,000 of us in attendance! Carver has the potential to be one of the toughest venues to play in the midwest. Peoria Pride mixed with Bradley pride is not something that most communities can boast!

... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

Free food/drink = More Students at BU games....

How about, buy 1, get 1 free for BU students:

hot dogs, soft drinks, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, and candy purchases?
              ------------------------------------------------------------------------
This game is huge for BU and moving up in the MVC standings, better positioning in the MVC Tourney!

I can't lose.... BU wins I am happy, UNI wins and THE PENNY is happy!

Tenacious D will be required of the Braves...

I gained a lot of confidence about a BU win today after seeing the starting line-up for UNI posted in this morning's Journal-Star. No Seth Tuttle. No Marc Sonnen. No Anthony James. We can beat this team that's starting two freshmen and a sophomore!

Must be a discipline thing that only the PJS knows about. No wait.....that's the Central Michigan roster they posted in today's paper! Yikes!

today's PJS story about the UNI game makes it sound lie every team oughta have a bunch of 30 pt losses - they are great learning tools!

I've noticed that a lot of times espn 3 doesn't work as well on mobile platforms: iPads, tablets, smartphones. And it will want you to download the app. If you are on a regular desktop computer you should just be able to girl espn3.com and watch the games on there without providing your cable provider and password.

ESPN3 is only available on the internet, and your internet provider has to subscribe to the service for you to be able to get it. I happen to be in the same boat, having one of the few internet providers in the country that won't subscribe (not a small one, either). If your provider doesn't subscribe, the only way to watch the game is to go somewhere that has a connection from an internet provider that subscribes, and hopefully, they will let you stream video. Alot of places won't because of the bandwidth required.

That said, I think bars should consider investing in the ability to stream content from ESPN3 and others internet only sports events, and allowing their patrons to watch while they enjoy their adult beverages. I don't see any difference in that than having Dish Network or DirecTV provided content available for viewing.
