Verizon Fios appears to give temp access for a few hours without an account. I dont know if it will work but might be worth a shot.

This game is huge for BU and moving up in the MVC standings, better positioning in the MVC Tourney!

I can't lose.... BU wins I am happy, UNI wins and THE PENNY is happy!

Tenacious D will be required of the Braves...

The other option may be the WatchEspn app which is allowed by some cable companies (ESPN3 is per ISP). That may work if you had the account/password of one if those customers, but I'm out of luck with DirecTv for Watch ESPN

ESPN 3 is nice in that you can rewatch all the games that were broadcasted on it. However sometimes they want a password from an affiliated cable provider which gets frustrating. The last few times I've gone to the site during BU games though, I've just watched it in great quality. Also, if you have an xbox or playstation you can get espn3 on the big screen.

With Watch ESPN you can stream live sports and ESPN originals, watch the latest game replays and highlights, and access featured ESPN programming online.

                Search the appstore for watchespn

Same thing as espn3 but for mobile but I think they make you sign in with your cable account.

Good comeback. UNI is better than their record with a ton of heartbreaking losses at the end. Too bad we couldn't finish the rally and hand them another one. Need to win the very winnable road games at Drake and Missouri State now to avoid Thursday most likely.

+1, instead of only winning 3 games total in the Valley this year we've only lost 2 at home and won the rest at home. The 2 Valley losses were by a combined 6 points, so it's still okay in my book. Wish we could have taken one away from them. The 5 students up in the upper bowl were well represented early on in the game but I didn't hear too much of them in the second half good job crowd! I still don't get how people left with 2 minutes left to go..... ah well. Go BU! Finish the job this year and hopefully beat the Jays! I'll be missing the road trip to Illinois State for the first time in about 5 years so it'll hurt if BU wins and I'm not there to see them win at B/N but I'll be happy for the record!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

I don't intend to stir up a hornets nest here, but something I saw in today's game brought back memories. Jim Les was ripped and blamed for losses in the past because he got technical fouls at critical times in close games.
Well, I expect some won't agree, but the technical by our coaches really hurt us, and may have ended up costing Bradley this game.
In addition, after Bradley made a nice run to get close in the 2nd half, and right after a three by DSE, Coach Ford called a quick timeout before UNI inbounded the ball, that I thought hurt Bradley's momentum when some of the Northern Iowa players were clearly getting winded. UNI had already used up all but one of their timeouts, so they didn't want to call another one. It looked to me like the Bradley timeout benefitted UNI much more than Bradley. UNI came back out of that timeout energized and made several more threes. Again, I recall the previous coach getting ripped for doing this, but I doubt we'll see that now. Overall I think Geno is doing a good job, but these 2 incidents hurt us more than helped. And it's hard to understand why our team didn't have the effort in the first half that they showed in the 2nd.

I also thought the timing of that timeout you cited was strange, as Bradley had a little momentum, and I mentioned it in the chat room discussion.
I did not think Geno deserved the technical. But I see your point, Bill. There were a couple times in the past that JL got technicals that were completely undeserved (like the time he was shouting at Will Egolf, or the time he just stomped his foot to get a players attention) but that didn't stop his detractors from blaming that for a loss.

There were some real positives for Bradley-
Dyricus with a career high 32 points.
Walt had 18 points and 9 rebounds.
Bradley was 7-15 from three, and Dyricus was 5-9.
And we played good defense against their big men. They only scored 12 of their points in the paint.

                            The negatives-
Walt and DSE scored 50 of Bradley's 65 points. Little or no offense from the other starters and reserves.
Only 5 points and 2 rebounds from our bench.
Only 7 total assists for the game.
We gave up 11 threes in 26 attempts.
20 turnovers for the game, against a team like UNI that doesn't force many turnovers- they had been forcing only about half that many in their previous MVC games.

                              ...I don't agree at all.....

The T was in the first half and was bogus call. It gets called after a bad call(which happens) but then it's a media timeout and Geno wasn't even talking to the ref who gave him the T.....during the ft's Geno asked him about not getting a warning and the ref said when you are that far out I don't need to warn you.....

oh...and what does Les have to do with anything?

Yes, it was in the first half- BU Bill had already asked that I correct that, and I did.
But it still cost Bradley 2 points, and dug a deeper hole for them.
