    I don't think so. It looks more like 7 very average, at best, teams and 3 teams that are only slightly better.
    ???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

      Indiana State is one of Lunardi's last four teams in, and that was even before tonight's win over Creighton. So maybe the Valley will get three teams into the tournament after all. But any more losses to inferior competition will not help their cause.
      So does that mean BU shouldn't beat ISU blue or CU @ home-I DON'T THINK SO-hope for at least 1 of those 2.
      You're right though if we are to get more then 1 team in the tournament those teams can't be losing to more then each other and they will need to get to the finals to get 2 teams in. A plus for both CU & WSU would be the amount of fans they could draw for the BiG Dance-even though they claim that doesn't make a difference it might on a bubble team.

        I tend to agree with you here, though considering SIU average is a big compliment.

        No way is this year's Creighton team, or the "top" team in the Valley as good as some of the CREIGHTON or SIU teams in the early-mid 2000s. And I think they would lose to the top 3-4 teams from the 2005-'06 season if played on a neutral court. Without McDermott, some solid players, but not great.

        Gotta say, it's kinda fun watching this craziness in the league this season, even if it means We're a 1-bid league. Of course, I would love 3 to represent in late March.

          did anyone notice that ESPN used the excuse of
          "technical issues"

          and less than an hour before game time, they bumped the ISU/Drake game off ESPN3 last night and instead televised a different game, different sport....
          "Serie del Caribe 2013 - Rep??blica Dominicana vs. Venezuela"

          Ya think that the fact both teams are tied for next-to-last place in the MVC had anything to do with that?

          BTW -- the entire tape of that Sycamore/Bluejay game should be required viewing daily for every player on our team should it look like we face them again

              so in the MVC Tourney - if it looks like we get Creighton (or I suppse InSU as well) we need to know how to defend them

                As much as I hate watching ISU Red win, it's the best result for Bradley, because Drake is more of a threat to pass us in the standings IMO. ISU should still be a play-in team, with games like this remaining:

                @Creighton
                @Evansville
                @UNI
                vs. Wichita

                They need to win 2 of those to even finish .500, and IMO they haven't won a game of that caliber yet.

                The name of the game is finishing ahead of MSU, SIU, ISU Red and Drake, and I'm pretty optimistic at this point.

                  I do think espn was having issues, because they had several games that were going to be available at 7 that quickly disappeared.
