  • Colt Ryan currently has 1967 career points

He "is now 33 points away from becoming the 14th player in MVC history to crack the 2,000-point mark"

Let's not allow him to hit this milestone!! I am happy that he will hit it but not against US!!

The Aces' game notes also have a few other interesting points..

"Bradley meanwhile struggles late in games. Over the last eight minutes of
MVC contests, the Braves have been outscored a cumulative 158-105"

The combination of Lemon and Dyricus Simms-Edwards in Bradley??™s backcourt
have coach Geno Ford??™s team fifth in the nation with 10.13 steals per game.
The Braves had 324 of them on the season and could snap Tulsa??™s all-time
MVC steals record fo 345 set in the 1983-1984 season."

BTW -- THREE of the current 13 players who have scored over 2000 points in the MVC are BRADLEY players - so surely all good BU fans know who they are...

(Hersey Hawkins, Mitchell Anderson, Roger Phegley...
but Chet Walker did not play his freshman season on varsity
because of the rules at that time - so he fell just 25 points short of 2000.)

Geno Ford on Colt Ryan (from the Evansville press)

"Colt getting 20 on us is not going to beat us. With 30, he can beat us.
But 20 are pretty much in the book before the jump ball.”

... sounds like a little motivation talk for Dyricus

I really don't care how many he scores as long as we win

It was fun hearing Grier on the pre-game. He had the demanding task of being Colt in game prep. It didn't take much to tell Grier he had a green light to run off screems and shoot as much as possible

Not me, I've only been a BU fan for 6 years...
