I hope you are right, and I hope he keeps working on his outside shot. His future with this team will require him to play a lot of the 2-guard position.

Great win for Bradley last night, as we need to be able to beat a team like Evansville at home, and we did. It was scary there for a minute when Colt heated up. He can score a lot of points in a hurry for sure. If Evansville had 1 or 2 post players like Pickett and Egolf to go with the rest of their team, they would be a lot better, but they really only have the one true post player.

And Kudos to the 12 students who were there who started chanting "USA USA USA" when the big guy from Evansville went to the free throw line. Hilarious.

aka...Kelly Self - a highly respected NCAA official who seems to make a large number of the calls that go against Bradley -

Self made 3 questionable calls against BU in less than a minute that allowed Evansville to score when we thought we had stopped them..

They chanted it against John Wilkins too. He laughed about it on the ISU postgame show (I had to listen to 96.5 on the way home because I can't get 1470).

This was a game BU needed to win and they did. Next up is another must win, and this 4 day break is big.

Lemon's development has been nothing short of incredible. Hopefully McD jumps into the draft or Creighton leaves for the C-7 so Walt can win the Larry Bird Trophy next year.

It's nice that Pickett has some range, but I'd rather have him in position to rebound someone else's misses. He made some clutch shots though.

I thought Bell played really well. He seems like a confident young man that is only going to get better. He is clamping down on defense too, which will help when Ricque is gone next season.

Pross played solid - this kind of production on his part should be expected every game...at a minimum.

We should cherish these seniors while they're still here. They are gutsy kids who have worked their tails off for 4+ seasons and do all the little things that don't show up as points on the stat sheet.

a few of TP's jumpers came when the offense was a little stagnant so the timing was great......he played a great game last night IMO

It certainly has been a fun season to follow, and great to be protecting our house!!!

I don't think many of us expected it to come so early in Geno's regime...I certainly didn't.

Now at 6-6 and tied for 4th in the league, I would consider us to be playing meaningful games....not just to avoid last place, but we have a chance to finish in the TOP HALF!!!

BU didn't play a great game IMO, but their toughness and willingness to keep the pressure on and make big plays down the stretch prevailed once more.

When Bradley goes on a steak, they look like they can beat anyone in the league. Last night they went on a couple, and without those nice runs, we played mediocre.

If DSE and WL don't get chosen for at least 2nd team MVC, there should be an investigation. Not many are playing better than Dyricus in the last 3 games, and he has been solid on both ends all season.

Prosser sets some great screens last night, freeing up a driving Walt and DSE..there were a couple that were bone crushers....bet that Evansville players is felling it today...one was right in front of the BU bench and got the bench up and applauding...

Not sure what the outcome would be without Pross...youjustneverknow...

The fact that we are commending him for setting screens is all you need to know about his production of late.

I'll take it. I think lowering of minutes is good, if we can afford to do that.

Do you play ball? If all you are concerned with is the stat sheet I doubt it. There are a ton of things players can do for the benefit of the team and setting screens is one of those things at the top of the list. I thought he played well last night. What did he do to you for all this continued animosity?

6 points 3 boards in 13 minutes (including 2 made FT late) is good bench production...that's like a starter going for 12 and 6 in 26 mins...that's good. (Not all-conference, but certainly in no way bad.)
Props to JP for a productive night!
