Yes....his 2 for 2 shooting tonight brings him up to 35% over that last 8 games.

      last 8 games

      142 minutes

      7 of 20 shooting

      21 points

      26 rebounds

Bell seemed to be playing under more control and maybe played his best game in a long time. I wonder who Bradley would have played at the post to rest Egolf without Prosser.

The best 40 minute all around game from the team so far this season. I like that they are improving as we move into February. That is a great sign and lets see if they can this momentum into our next game.

Reynolds: Bradleys late fts sink Evansville...

Wessler: Bradleys growing reputation for intensity...

Without Bell - I'm not sure. Eastman might still be getting scored on.
I'm guessing Jake had nightmares about being run off screens by Colt Ryan. There were a lot of bad switches by Bradley, but Ryan is a great player, so I'll give him a little credit for making shots too.

Jake was all over the place...7 pts, 5 rebs (he had 5 at half so I am sure someone doing stats wasn't watching), 4 asst, 3 steals, and another 4 or 5 deflections & good defense...

if we try to go without him - we lose...

BTW - Wichita loses at SIU 64-62, and as I have said all along - someone's getting a good look at tape on Cleanthony Early and suddenly he's a mere mortal -
the other game UNI 48 - Missouri State 37 - and yes, that is the final not the halftime score!
Both teams shot horribly -- UNI hit only 26% from 3-pt but that was almost double what Missouri State hit...and why can't Mark Sonnen go 1-7 against us?
We obviously need Jake and Pross to contribute on this team.....

I though TP was the difference though...he hit some big shots in the 2nd half when our offense was sputtering some.....18 and 8.....nice game TP

Don't you think that had more to do with their offense?....I loved the way they moved without the ball and off screens.....

This was a nice win for Bradley. I thought TP played well. Our guards DSE and WL played sokid minutes and DSE saved us in the first half. JE and JP played better. I wish we had a better bench. I wish more people could have attended the game. We have getting better. There still is a lot of basketball to be played, but this season is a lot more enjoyable for us fans.

Their double post with Ryan running figure-eight routes around them reminded me a little of the Albeck "pro turnout" offense that helped enable Hersey to score 3,008 career points.

Technically, it's almost impossible to defend something like that very well in a man to man defense. But you don't want to switch to a zone either against a team like Evansville.

Great win for BU. Finally protecting the home floor again, now its time to steal one or two on the road. Regardless extremely happy with the improvement from not just last year but also over the course of this season from guys like SS and KDB. Just awesome to be in a position where games this late in the season mean something.

Don't know what GF said at half time to BU, but it worked.

Braves getting killed on the boards in the FH and by Colt Ryan

BU much better on boards in 2H and shut down Colt Ryan in 2H till late
                            in the game....

Way to get in Ryan's body, face, and head in the 2H BU defenders..

BU defenders: Didn't take nothin from nobody in 2H..

                            Now about the officiating.........

PS Was it just me, or, did Snell sound like he may have had a cocktail or two before or during the game yesterday? He sounded giddy at times during the game broadcast last night!

I really like Bell. Watched him play a few high school games. Good player. Before he is done at Bradley he will be contributing quite a bit. Better shooter than what we have seen so far but he can hit the 3 point shot
