We are in the Villages in Fl and were out to dinner with 3 other couples. When we got back to another friends house to watch the game ,the score was 23 to 9 the bad guys. I am taking responsibility for the win.lol Braves 12 will like that statement I'm sure. Walt was outstanding last night and the 3 Jake drained seemed to take the wind out of the deadbirds sails. DSE also made some big plays at bothe ends of the floor. Wish we could find a way to keep WE on the floor for more minutes but that probably won't happen. Hope we can keep this thing going.Great win last night Geno and the Braves.
I was visiting in that area last week....nice area
This team is actually very incredible when you think about what they are accomplishing. I give credit to everyone involved. Keep moving forward BU!
Considering the majority of the guys in the rotation do not know how to score consistently, I agree completely. Great job staff and players.
I thought Geno's artistry in funneling those big guys in and out at the end of the game to keep them from fouling out and keep the guy on the floor fresh also while playing offense-to-defense was very impressive. Maybe the single best in-game coaching moves I have seen from him.

I don't know how he did it, but it was great coaching...TP and WE are so foul-prone it's unbelievable.
We must have worked a lot in breaking the press since the Wichita game because we handled it beautifully in the 2nd half, which led to some easier scores. Good, crisp passes.
I am keeping this game recorded on my DVR for a long time to watch after the season ends!...or maybe even replay it this Friday night! I think it might be as enjoyable as the actual game, seeing how badly we struggled in the 1st half, but knowing the outcome!

Where were you at Lefty. We just love this place. So much to do so little time. Golf, the outdoor pool and eating take up most of our time. Got to watch the Braves last night and I slept alot better beating those Deadbirds. Now if Geno can keep this going .
Not gonna name names but everyone knows there are some internal haters who claim to be fans. Got to talk to my guy David Booth who was there to watch Carmichael last night and I am just happy they stopped giving him touches in the second half. Great coaching and adjustments by G and its a big win at home against a team who is better than their record.

Great here in Mesa also. Been a little cool and rainy for a couple days but starting to warm up for golf today. Will proudly wear my BU Braves golf shirt today. My buddy out here from Lexington is an ISU fan, but a good guy, is in the foursome ahead of me. Thanks Braves and Geno.
Booth works for the Hornets - and although it's early in the NBA season - they don't currently look to have a pick later in the 1st round - and maybe noe in the 2nd round... so they're probably scouting Jackie if something changes...
one of the scouts I talked to was from the Heat but they don't have a pick 'til late 2nd Rd - but I am sure they do their homework...
Ya think any of those guys might have seen Walt and wondered if he's got what it takes?

Chico, hope it warms up for you and if you hit into the foursome ahead of you yell 4 but very softly if its near the ISU fan. Just kidding we don't want to hurt an ISU fan we hurt them enough last night.lol We've been in the 80's the last couple days but going into the high 60's Thur. & Fri. Then back to the 70's B4 I leave here on the 7th. Go Braves.

Well said. In-game coaching is a part of the game that often goes overlooked and undervalued. This game was all about making changes, on the fly, and adapting to what ISU was doing.
Great work.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

There are people who go to a Bradley board who hate Bradley? Why would anyone go to a message board that they have negative feelings about? It makes no sense. It is logical that people would go to a message board that they enjoy, but I don't understand going somewhere that you don't. Obviously gerry you enjoy this board, or you wouldn't be here.
we have had 20 pt blowouts - and that is what I hate -- and there were people who wanted to see Albeck gone...
...and there were LOTS of people - including many in the press - who wanted to see Molinari gone...
and many who hated JL and actually cheered for him to lose to see him gone...again including many in the local media who took it upon themselves to practically engineer his ouster...
but I have yet to see even one person openly say or root for Geno to be gone or want to see him lose....
I fully support the team and coaches and I am there cheering as loudly as anyone for their success.....
but the hurdles they have had to overcome to get where we are have been substantial..I applaud the guys for overcoming them....
If there's a concern still even about last night's big win - it's the lack of any consistent bench production...
Only Will Egolf gave us much of anything off the bench - and he's actually usually a starter.
ISU came in with Ekey & Zeisloft who hit 5 of 9 3-pt attempts and gave them 17 pts/4 rebs...
We need to find that production - it doesn't get any easier - now we have few games left
against the teams below us, and they're almost all going to be way tougher and on the road...
Name them. Can't you enjoy this win without trying to stir things up?
You need to be on Twitter Chico. I like everyone on the board, but what I read yesterday was not a very smart tweet. jmho
Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
There's a couple columns in today's Pantagraph and I enjoyed reading their take on the same game I watched last night...
Where they saw the game differently made me giggle a bit..
-first they never really seem to give credit to BU - only that ISU "fell apart" and lost the game by playing poorly..they even go so far as say it wasn't like BU did anything different in the 2nd half - seriously!
-and also they kinda make the point that Muller's good and righteous coaching moves resulted in the loss....check it out - LINK
There team has under performed all season which is more then likely do to the players not doing what they are told to do by the coach, obviously Hill was told to control himself before and he didn"t so Mueller was teaching him a lesson, Hill should apologize to his team for being stupid and hurting their chances as kudos to Mueller for having rules and sticking to them, its called coaching(teaching) and he proved he is in charge.
