It seems to be the last couple years that BU is amazing at home and flat out hideous on the road- neutral is pretty normal but what do you think the HUGE difference is that this team is almost virtually unbeatable at home and almost unwinnable on the road?

I think what you say holds true for a high % of teams in college basketball. Playing on the road is flat-out tough. You have to be talented and mentally strong. On top of that, you have to play well. You can get away with a lot at home, you can get away with nothing on the road.

BU actually was much better away from Carver last year than in past years, and IMO have looked better away from home this year than they have in past years. Yes, we've dropped 3 of 4 away from home, but you can argue that we played well and let it slip away against Illinois, played poorly but battled where in the past we'd have been blown out against Tech, and flat-out stunk against Michigan St. It's the guts of the 1st 2 road games that tells me they'll never give up and will steal a couple of roadies.

Right now though, let's focus on home-cookin'.
