???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Must win game for us tomorrow night to stay out of Thursday in St. Louis. We have to protect home court against the other teams around us in the standings.

What started off looking better for all the D-I teams in Illinois is now turning bad like last year...

just for fun - here are the career D-I records of all the head coaches
currently at D-I schools in Illinois.

6 of the 13 are sub-.500, and really only a couple are significantly OVER .500...Two of the guys with the best records (Purnell, Carmody) are on the hottest seats, and honestly - none of the career records on this list would argue for those guys getting hired away any time soon! (although Molinari is being talked about in that respect)

          BU - Geno Ford - 88-71
          ISU - Dan Muller - 12-10
          SIU - Barry Hinson - 213-153
          WIU - Jim Molinari - 286-266
          EIU - Jay Spoonhaur - 6-16
          NIU - Mark Montgomery - 10-40
          U of I - John Groce - 100-62
          DePaul - Oliver Purnell - 423-332
          Northwestern - Bill Carmody - 283-226
          Loyola - Porter Moser - 125-132
          UIC - Howard Moore - 28-54
          Chicago State - Tracy Dildy - 17-67
SIUE - Lennox Forrester - 57-103 (part of that time SIUE was transitioning to D-I)
