Creighton desperately needed this game. The final margin of victory shows that they were hungry for this win and that they are still a legitmate top 25 team. Hopefully their loss to Drake doesn't hurt them too badly in the polls tomorrow.Comment

Pretty decent crowd for SIU - gotta admit their fan base is loyal...(5,764)
..One thing I noted in the box score - they played a guy named Ryan Bonifeld...
I noticed also that his name has never been mentioned anywhere on the board and so I looked him up...
..I guess when SIU had their injuries and defections - they put out a call for walk-ons and Bonifield was added...
...btw - even Diamond Taylor made an appearance...got 9 minutes of garbage time - only his 2nd appearance of the season - kinda hitting rock bottom considering he was a Big Ten recruit.
