All of this....and it happened on my birthday with my family and friends joining me in section 4. Great win. Very happy for Walt, Will, DSE especially. Heck throw Jake in there too.

I thought we were dead fish floating belly up. Way to prove me wrong.
    Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

Happy Birthday Dub! Glad you all had a fun birthday celebrating a great Bradley win over ISU. This is a great birthday present for me as well since mine is on Thursday!

Great win! Looks like Comcast is replaying the game at 2:30 A.M. for the night owels! Also I believe the replay is avaliable on espn3 currently as well.

Actually the replay is starting now (1:30) not sure why CSN Chicago would list their schedule times as Eastern.

          -Huge win - congrats Braves!!

-the 1st half had me worried - we do have a good game when we alternate the drive with the dish..but we will not beat many teams with the long ball -
...especially when we have Tyshon Pickett and Jalen Crawford jacking them up........
          so....
why oh why do we continue to drill long ugly shots when they are not falling?
And is Jalen Crawford's only instructions to go out there and jack up a shot the first time he touches it?

BUT -- even a BAD crowd for BU beats any crowd ISU has...

-how do they miss the goaltending on Tyshon's shot that went off the glass then was slapped away?

-They shot the lights out from 3-pt BUT...it played right into a plan that helped us win. generally all they need to do is keep feeding the ball down low to Carmichael - and he kills us -
we have nobody to stop him and all our big guys foul out - so later in the 2nd half when they decided to just shoot threes - it may have looked like the right plan but by doing it they were drawing dead and on a losing game plan.
Even the NBA guy said he just didn't understand why the entire last 10 minutes of the game they seemed to forget who they had sitting in the post waiting for a pass.
Who in creation figures we would outshoot & outscore them in the paint 46-14!!!

-I met & talked with two different NBA scouts - one was this guy - LINK
..one of them sat the entire game directly in front of me, took notes, drew diagrams, logged every single time Carmichael came in, went out, took a shot, where from, etc...
But I felt it was especially important to help the guy out and point out how Carmichael tends to only play offense, takes plays off on defense, fouls whenever he does try to play defense, and has a little trouble ever making a shot from more than an arm's length from the hoop.
The funniest thing of the night - was that after taking all those notes for two hours - the guy got up and left with a minute to go and an incredibly exciting game still undecided!
Maybe JC's fourth foul convinced him of what he needed to know?

-despite John Wilkins' shooting - his defense and his fouls hurt them down the stretch.
DSE played great defense on Tyler Brown - and he had to earn all his points the hard way.
Had they used Zeisloft or Ekey more - they win - plus Hill's technical was a HUGE turning point and seems to take him and half the Redbirds out of the game.

-two last things - there were a couple visitors - juco shooting guards
and it was a mere couple dozen students - not a singel fan otherwise - who decided to have a party out on the court after the game - it wasn't a true "court-storming" as ISU does when they beat a last place team

I love watching the team Geno has put on the floor, all those 600,000 fans who left with JL are just missing out. Geno's job is to win games and its a huge plus if he has an enjoyable personality. He accomplishes both of those.

The Bobcats scout who sat a few rows in front of me left about the same...I doubt they cared about the outcome...

Great job last night, loved the comeback and loved the enthusiasm of the crowd that was there. Totally disappointed however in the attendance, just over 9,000 for ISU? No major high school games going on, Duke wasn't on TV, the Heat weren't on TV, what is the reason for such a low turnout? Interesting also that our two spinners, Wessler and Reynolds, do not mention the attendance in either of their articles-typical of those two. If that was JL team coming off a loss at Wichita like that you rest assured that the low attendance numbers would have been brought up by these two "award winning journalist." Go Geno! Go away Reynolds and Wessler.

Game had similar feeling to last year's win vs. UNI and the upset win over them in 2010. Need to check, but in both those games, we were down double digits and about 8 at the half, and then exploded in 2nd half, looking like a hungry and completely different team. And I think we scored around 50 too in both games.

well, I asked one of the members of the BU athletic department what was the prevailing thought on that very question...
..he said it was the weather.....but seriously - it's 60 degrees out..maybe a little wet - but what kind of weather does anyone expect in January!
If it were cold, snowy, slippery, windy - would we likelwise use all those reasons to explain the low crowd...

But - let me say that the fans there were GREAT - standing much of the game and cheering loudly.
I think we have to get the community more involved - more interested...
it's too late to go after Alec Peters - but we definitely need more local guys like Dyricus - he's really fun to watch!

BTW -- did anyone stay around to watch the bike guys?

I would say it was due to the fact both teams are below .500 in conference, but the records were much worse two years ago and there were 1500+ more tickets sold back then.

Really? The weather? We had a record high in Peoria yesterday. I guess a little rain kept everyone home?

Yes....it was an awesome crowd. A lot of people missed out on a very good college basketball game in a great atmosphere! Too bad for them.

I thought the crowd was great. I don't know why any article on that game would focus on the attendance!?!?

Great atmosphere, incredible action, and a major comeback is and was the story! Great job guys!
