we're improved but now the schedule gets even tougher..
I think everyone will agree that the most winnable games are those against depleted teams at the bottom of the conference and especially our home games against teams behind us in the standings.
The least winnable games are those against the top tier - and the road games against teams that are above us in the standings..
By just about anyone's standards -
-we have already played the FOUR easiest games we're gonna have (both SIU games and the home games vs. MSU & Drake)
-and we have yet to play the three toughest games of all (at Wichita and both Creighton games)
-we are 4-0 in our games against teams whose RPI is worst than 150 (we only have two of those left but BOTH are on the road - where we haven't beaten anyone but the last place team)
-we are 0-4 in our four games vs. teams whose RPI is better than 150 (we have eight of those remaining)
So we need to step it up - we need good outside shooting - we need to get the ball in the low post & stay out of foul trouble
BTW - almost every MVC team has killed us over the years with GOOD juco shooting guard that helped them big time..
You recall - Cavel Witter, Booker Woodfox, Emmanuel Holloway, Pooh Richardson, Joe Ragland, Ben Smith...
Now Drake has Richard Carter, ISU has Tyler Brown, I'd like to see us land a good juco scoring guard ASAP
