Prosser is now 2 of 6 over the last 4 games (69 minutes).

You would think Wells would be good enough to at least get into games at this point.

Again.....at what point is a scholarship considered wasted?
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

we have to get something - just a basket or a rebound or something out of our freshmen & sophs..
our entire bench got us 3 pts & 8 rebs and Pross was responsible for most of that...

hey - as much as I hate losing - a couple things were great tonight --

-Drake beat Creighton with the Jays reduced to admitting Drake outplayed them & then begging Ed Hightower to call a technical on the Drake crowd for being naughty..
-Duke got humiliated and beaten so bad in the ESPN prime time game with Dickie Vitale almost in tears and under suicide watch..
watching Coach K look so stunned and the player he tampered with to lure to Duke, Curry, go 0-10 were priceless, too
-a tremendous play by Joakim Noah and the Bulls come back & win against Detroit

If he can't play at all next year, I think you could start asking the question.

I saw that too and thought it was WEAK. At most, I guess they could have warned the crowd.

I don't consider it wasted on a RS freshman who we knew was going to be a project. We can afford 1 project big. I am not expecting anything from him next year, but during his 4th and 5th year I am. Reasonable people can disagree.

What we can't afford is for the entire bench to give us either nothing or next to nothing.

              I don't disagree with this.

Well, I hate to see CU lose to Drake as this hurts their seeding. Otherwise, great for Drake and their fans. They may not have a lot to cheer about this year, but they now have one of the two or three best wins in the Valley this year! But that desperation pleading for a technical foul does not make Creighton look too good.

Regarding Dickie V., I like the guy and saw him speak about 20 years ago when he visited Bradley. He's probably one of the nicest guys in the business, and even though many do get tired of his on air antics, he has definitely done a lot to promote the game over the years. And I for one enjoy seeing a 70 something year old guy with the same enthusiasm about the game as a 20 year old college fan of their favorite team might have.

That said though, he also lives and dies Duke basketball which makes his bias towards this team difficult to watch. He recently blogged on ESPN.com about his mid-season coach of the year picks. He liked Greg McDermott, Brad Stevens, and someone else I can't recall right now. But those were good picks. But who did he pick for his top pick? Of course. Coach K! Now I like Coach K. He is one of the few BCS coaches that I really think does a lot of good for the game (though I'm sure they're maybe a few "skeletons" hidden in his coaching closet if someone wanted to look). But come on Dickie! I know you like the mid-majors, but can you stop with the incessant Duke and North Carolina hyping we have to listen to every year?! Maybe a game like tonight will bring him down to earth a bit.

                Naahhh!

where was the guy who was saying he was happy with the production off the bench - specifically JC's...
8 of the last nine games - he's added nothing or next to nothing & the one game he scored more than his average - it was meaningless because it was at UNI where we were down 30...
hopefully he can snap out of the funk and give us more....

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought Prosser was heavily recruited and was the PJS class A player of the year. If that was the case I wouldn't consider him a project like most big players Bradley recruits. IMO he as been a big disappointment is far but I hope he comes on strong the remainder of this season and next season also.

I was referring to Wells as a project.

Though both redshirted, I never considered Prosser a project. I thought JP would be a much bigger contributor than he has been. Agree with you on hopes that he comes on strong this year and next.

Wells...even Donivine or Devon couldn't possibly give us less than what our bench is giving us...

                          Story from BradleyBraves.com-
EVANSVILLE, Ind. ? Evansville senior guard Colt Ryan was the only Purple Aces player to score in double-figures, but his 19 points were enough to lead the home team to a 66-56 win versus Bradley.

I'm not sure I can agre with this statement since the three that you mention would be a tremendous defensive liability compared to guys like Bell, Shayok, and Crawford. Offensively, I'm not sure they'd give us much either.

The point is well made. I recall a previous coach being lambasted because he did not have enough depth off his bench to replace 2 of his starters when they went down for the season. But this year, we are getting less production from our bench, and especially less production from any of the guys brought in the last couple years, than I can ever recall in the past.
