There is no doubt he would be at Bradley now if JL was still coaching here, along with Remy Abell, Tyler Brown, Sean Harris, and some others. I have heard that from a pretty reliable source.
But there are fallout deniers who will continue to believe whatever makes it easier to suffer through the fallout.
I like our real team better than any imaginary team. I don't understand clinging to what might have been.

You guys act like what JL had waiting for last year and this year is something AMAZING.......what exactly were you expecting?

And Tyler Brown is one of the best shooters in the MVC and one of the leading scorers. He is now playing for a coach that didn't recruit him. I don't think that makes him a bad kid. He is exactly the type of player this team needs.

All the other players you list have contributed little or nothing yet, except TP, and JL was quite adept at recruiting juco players, too. That is part of the reason we have struggled.
Yes, and Jim already recruited and signed 13 players before Tyler, so soneone had to go..
At a minimum, it makes a great story that the player complimented by Coach K, and then started getting less and less pt might be that player on the way out...

A hypothetical team with Remy Abel, Corey Hawkins, Tyler Brown and Walt Lemon (a stretch in my mind if Les was coaching) would not win the Valley. I don't think they would even come close. We have not had the big guys needed to win in the Valley.

            What?
JL was high on WL. He would not have left. One player was already planning on leaving, and likely other slots would have opened. It would not have been a last place team by any stretch, and could have been one of the better teams in the MVC. With the young nucleus, who knows.

one person who would disagree with this statement is Manti Te'o

Yes. Donivine Stewart would have been very likely.

Great observation, where are all the big guys that we would need in order to compete for a championship, this is why he is no longer here as all those good guards might get him a 4th or 5th place finish.

Tyler Brown is a very good player but unles ISU gave us Carmichael we end up in the middle of the pack.

We can all agree that Jim Les was a great recruiter and had a good eye for talent. ( cellus, obryant, Wilson, etc.) He was here for almost 10 years, and had several good years, and great 1 in 2006-7.

But he is now gone, but we still need to cheer for him at UCD.

Geno is here now, and is doing a good job of coaching and recruiting.

Its good to look back and remember all the good times we had with Jim.

But now we need to stop the what if Jim was still here, because he isn't here any more Geno is.

I think we are much better than middle of the pack with Brown, Abell, Hawkins and the other players that would have been brought in.

But I am fine with where we are, as long as we keep getting better. Go Braves.

I think you are right provided he had a JUCO center coming in as Wichita and Creighton kill us inside because of our lack of a true center.

And Wilkins, Sean Harris, Milos, Andrew Davis and Donovine Stewart. I know we couldn't win with warren, maniscalco, tb3, Roberts, Will and DSE, but this fantasy team has champions all over it. The same way my fantasy team did until week 12

                              More accolades for Corey Hawkins

BTW Hersey's youngest son Devon is having a fine year as a senior in high school and is still uncommitted...
I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up playing with Ty & CHawk...
In his last game, an 80-49 win, Devon scored 17 pts on 7-9 shooting including 3-4 form 3-pt range

Corey Hawkins had to sit out last night due to injuries - and yet without him, UCD still won to go to 4-4 in their conference - balanced scoring a good shooting helped, and they drew a great crowd (for them) of 2600..
