ESPN3 Question for Bobby Parker

Distribution of simulcasts are only available to subscribers of the respective cable television networks to customers of Bright House Networks, Midcontinent Communications, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS TV, and Xfinity TV (formerly Comcast Digital Cable). ESPN3, however, is available through Internet service providers.
So, at home I can watch ESPN3 on my PC or droid tablet because my ISP (Frontier) is allowed by Frontier, but I cannot use the Watch ESPN app (even when I am on my Frontier based WiFi because I have DirecTv)

Bobby - I really appreciate the information again on this. One more question on the rights. If the visiting team wishes to provide the game to ESPN3, can they? So for this game this past Saturday, Missouri St. provided their feed to ESPN3 and there is nothing BU can do about it? Is that how it works?
Again - not trying to complain, just trying to know how things work. I do really like the ability to watch on mobile devices with an app as flash is very limiting.

Trying not to draw viewers away from our own streaming platform is one aspect, but relatively minor in the whole scheme of things. Personally, I have a philosophical issue with the idea that ESPN wants the feed at no cost to them, but covers the ads within the broadcast and replaces within their own ads. Yes, the added viewership is probably worth it, but I really do not like the business arrangement.
I have been happy with the Braves.tv stream this year as the quality is decent, the package is worth it for the number of game available, and game archives have been available faster than ever before.
