if it happens that way, then Bradley moves to "no higher than 4th place"
..and of course ISU gains a full THREE game hold on last place (two games in the standings plus would need to move up an extra game to overcome the tiebreaker)

Wichita is up 5 on Creighton late in 1st half...I think Creighton might be in for an awakening today

Wichita wins 67-64. Creighton had two chances to tie, including at the buzzer but someone other than McDermott shot it and missed. Hard fought game.

Creighton may need to run the table or they're possibly a 2nd place MVC team...
Wichita State looks tough...I think this game exposed Creighton's lack of depth...
only 4 of their starters scored - and a couple players missed key open shots and FTs , and only two other players scored - each had a bucket...

                  Final-
                  Creighton 64
                  Wichita St 67

Great game to watch! McDermott with 25 points, 6 rebounds. Gibbs looked good with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and Echenique had 9 points, 13 rebounds (6 offensive rebounds). But the Creighton bench didn't add much. Wichita State's Tekele Cotton was 0-10, and the team only shot 38%, and 17% from three. But somehow they got enough possessions to outscore Creighton.

I love that these games were all on TV (or watch espn!) Makes my college basketball Saturday much more fun and relevant (Not like I don't like watching others, but I have a strong preference from Missouri Valley Basketball over most any other conference!)
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

Just finished watching Indiana St defeat Evansville. Looked like a real good crowd with good student attendance. Was just wondering what the attendance was at the Braves game today and were the students back?
What part of illegal don't you understand?

Not a bad crowd considering 1:00 on a Saturday, on a 50+ degree day, and the students not back

The students were not at the Bradley game.
The announced attendance was 7,756, but it did not look to me like there were any more than the last game.

I noticed the Indiana State crowd was much bigger than they usually draw. I can't find that there were any special promotions, so it must have just been because of the rivalry with Evansville.

The final in the late game-
                              Evansville 62
                              Indiana State 72

Did anyone else watching the MVC-TV network broadcast of this game, the announcers made several factual errors when they spoke about players and the history of the MVC. One example I recall, in a feature called "This Date in MVC History", they talked about a game in 1971 between Evansville and Indiana State- but they never mentioned that neither team was part of the MVC then (Indiana State joined in 1976 and Evansville in 1994).
Also, when Indiana State pulled out to a 37-32 lead, the announcer said "Indiana State takes their first lead at 37-32." I guess he though they made a 5-point play!
