When Geno gets the right players in his system we will be good, we are headed in the right direction as we have some good recruits coming in to go with the 2 transfers that are already here, I expect to see a better team next season and a really good team the season after, it takes time to rebuild a program.

They compete and play their hearts out, and they would both be important pieces even on teams with better size and shooting. So while we may not be challenging for titles right now, you can't underestimate the importance of players like these.

That goes for people on both sides of the direction discussion by the way. What part of illegal don't you understand?

Bradley played very poorly today. Coaches and players should take responsibility and I'm sure they will. I've seen them play a few bad games over years. This team wasn't ready to compete for a national championship when they played Michigan close and they're not ready to drop to DIII after todays game. There are better days ahead.

BTW - I am still proud of our guys - still trying to fight back - Jake has 9, DE has 8 and starting to hit jumpers..
The two seniors are 6-10 and have virtually all our FTs"How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal, and you have to be willing to work for it." - Jim Valvano

Very concerned.
The real question: do we let the last 2 games define us, or do we work to make them an anomaly? We were absolutely pointed in the right direction. Let's find that direction again before we lose it further.
All the chicken littles who panicked today and thought the sky was falling needs to maintain perspective of the overall season.

As an example of this, there was an earlier post today that looks like it was recently removed (and rightfully so) that illustrates this point. I won't name the poster and what was said, but for anyone who is thinking of doing this, please stop with the "keep the faith" posts after games like this that make it sound like we are all ready to jump off the ledge! We are all Bradley basketball fans, but at the same time Bradley basketball is just one small part of our lives. We don't spend three to four days in a dark room sulking after a tough loss. I'm sure there may be one or two people who lurk around here that act like that, but I would like to believe the vast majority of us have far more important things in our lives to worry about rather than how good or bad our team is. We also all know that this program will eventually get better, but we don't need people talking to us like five year olds to get that point across.
I consider myself a religious person, but at the same time I don't need people telling me to "keep my chin up" like I don't know what is going on regarding the team. So kudos to DC and the other moderators who keep things civil around here. Let's use these types of games as a starting point for sensible, intelligent discussions about how this team can get better in the future, rather than using them to post comments that talk down to people.
