Despite being picked #2 in the MVC preseason poll, ISU's RPI will rise to well over 100 after their loss to Missouri State.
Indiana State still has a nice RPI, but can they sustain it? It is looking more like a 2-bid conference, barring a major upset in the MVC tournament.

MSU's kind of messing up the whole balance in the conference.

InSU is suffering from an effect where they've played the 3 other Top 100 RPI teams in conference play. That easily won't last. But winning a bunch of games in a row would mitigate that.

InSU is suffering from an effect where they've played the 3 other Top 100 RPI teams in conference play. That easily won't last. But winning a bunch of games in a row would mitigate that.

I did not realize that InSU has that great of an RPI. As I just posted on the other thread, they still have a decent chance at an at-large despite their early season loss to Morehead St. The earlier these bad losses take place, the more easily forgotten by the selection committee with their better wins. But they still need a win or preferrably two over CU and WSU.

Of course tomorrow night, I won't care what chances InSU has for an at-large bid since I will be rooting for Bradley to beat them.
