Followup on Hersey's two youngest sons...

Corey Hawkins, of course had a great career at UC-Davis, and now plays for the Idaho Stampede in the D-League.

Youngest son Devon Hawkins finished a year at Yuba College...but is now finishing his sophomore year at Clark College, a Vancouver, Washington junior college.
They play in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NAACC) and not NJCAA.
Devon averages about 8 ppg/6 rpg

That would be up to Coach Wardle, and I have not heard anything to suggest there is any interest on Wardle's part. Devon does not possess the skills his older brother Corey had, and from everything I can find, he is probably not likely to get D1 offers.

He might help some DI but currently playing at a really low level juco that's so far up in the far northwest that it's exceedingly rare any kid from that entire juco conference ever gets noticed by a DI.
I kinda wonder if Devon might walk on at UC-Davis??

Corey Hawkins is now playing for the Idaho Stampede of the NBA D-League. He joined the after a trade from the Sioux Falls Sky Force. He did not play much initially, but now he is starting and getting more playing time, and he is putting up really good numbers.
Last night, Corey had his best game. He had his season high with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals in an Idaho win against one of the best teams in the D-League, the Los Angeles D-Fenders (Zach Andrews' old team).

Zach Andrews is now playing for the Iowa Energy. However, shortly after he was traded there on January 29, he was injured, and hasn't played for the last month.
